About Us
In 1961, George Periccos opened the now world famous "George's Portobello Fish Bar". 42 years later, his son Johnny decided to close down one of his dad's chip shops and open the greatest skate and BMX shop known to humanity... Halfpipe.
The staff at Halfpipe specialise in skateboards, snowboards, BMX and MTB. Halfpipe is an independent shop, run by riders for riders. Whether you're just starting out or practically a pro, all the Halfpipe lads are more than happy to help you out if you need assistance. So "drop in" and see us....spend some money.

FAQ
How does the order system work with Halfpipe?
Once you have found what your looking for you can either call us at the shop and we'll take your details over the phone, or you can continue with the shopping basket. The way this works is very secure, at no point will you be asked to enter your credit card details into the computer. Instead, once you have filled out the order form, you get an email confirming your order and we will receive an email with all your details. Then we'll contact you to take your details over the phone. This way, you're speaking to someone who can answer any questions, your details are safely taken and you get the personal touch!
Can I have my order delivered to a different address?
Yes. When you place your order (either on the website or over the phone on 02089699944) you will be asked for a billing address and a delivery address. Your invoice will be sent along with your order unless you require it to be sent to your billing address.
When should I expect my order to be delivered?
Depending on what time you place your order, you could receive it the next day! If the order dispatches too late you may have to weight till the day after.
What happens if I'm not in when the delivery is made?
The Royal Mail will leave you a card. On this card will a collection number - so you can collect your parcel from their local depot.
Can you ship goods to the US?
We don't currently ship outside of the EU. We'd like to, but the postage charges are just way too expensive - sorry. This may change in the future, so please keep checking.
How do I return faulty items?
Firstly, it is best to contact us at the shop and we will discuss all the details with you. All faulty items are dealt with individually. Goods are guaranteed against manufacturing defects and some will have to be returned to our suppliers before we can accept them as faulty. Once we're satisfied the goods are faulty, we will offer a FREE repair, replacement, exchange or refund.
How do I exchange non faulty items?
Returned items must be sent back in their original unused condition within 14 days of receipt.
Once received we will offer an exchange for items of the same value or higher, a credit note or a full refund if required. In most cases, your original postage and packing charges will not be refunded.
DVDs will not be accepted unless they are returned sealed.
Magazines, set-ups and underwear can not be returned.
We can only refund onto the same card as was used for the original payment.
You will be required to pay postage when returning your exchange items to us.
Can I return a snapped or cracked deck?
When you crack or snap your board, you most likely had your foot or feet in the wrong spot when landing tricks and grabs. Unfortunately, if this happens, we will not replace your broken board or a board with pressure cracks. Sorry.
Will Halfpipe set my skateboard up?
If you want us to...'course we will! If you would rather do it your self, then that's no problem, just say so on the order form. The same goes if you would rather grip your own board.
I want to buy a frame but I'm not sure how to build my bike, can you help?
If you buy a frame from us, we will build your bike for free at the shop, and you can sit and watch so you get to learn. We have two fully equipped workshops so we can do any jobs on any bikes.
What if i can't find what I'm looking for?
That's no problem...we are great at sourcing products so if you contact us we will definitely get back to you either the same day or next with all the information on the product and whether we can get it.

Charge bikes are bringing out the new Plug bikes out really soon and they look awesome ....and this is awesome aswell.
These should be coming out soon!Pro Tips
Skate Tip When picking a deck, bare in mind what sort of skating you will be doing (street/ vert). A wider deck will always feel more stable but a thinner one will be easier to flip.
Prices subject to change without notice.
